A laundry destainer specially formulated for use in commercial, healthcare and on premise laundries.

Pricing is quoted against your volume and delivery schedule — we do not publish shelf prices.

Benefits

  • Well-stabilized and effective medium temperature bleach system based on peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide
  • Very thin liquid, which makes it easily pumpable, ensuring optimal delivery in the wash solution
  • Results in minimal fabric damage and colour fading when used according to user instructions
  • Enables bleaching at lower temperatures (40-70°C); saves energy and prolongs fabric lifetime
  • Provides good hygiene
  • Excellent destainer for all types of fabric, including coloureds (except wool and nylon)

How to use

  1. Dosing level is dependent on wash classification
  2. Dosage recommendation: 2 ml / litre of wash liquor. At a liquor to cloth ratio between 1: 4 and 1: 6 this is equal to 8 - 12 ml/kg dry goods
  3. Please note the following:
  4. Clax Personril 4KL1 is most effective at temperatures between 60 and 70˚C
  5. The pH of the wash solution should be between 9 and 10
  6. At pH > 10, bleach performance (peracid) decreases, while at pH < 9 acid will evaporate, creating hazardous situations, therefore proper pH control is essential
  7. At temperatures > 70˚C peracetic acid starts decomposing and bleach performance decreases
  8. At temperatures below 60˚C, bleach effectiveness decreases (consequently longer wash times are required to obtain similar effect as at 60 - 70˚C)
  9. Do not use Clax Personril 4KL1 for cleaning wool or nylon (polyamide; eg HTN dustmats)
  10. Note: Bloodstains will set when in contact with per acid/peroxide and as a result, will be hard to remove. Therefore it is strongly advised to avoid any contact with Clax Personril during the initial phase of the wash (t=0-7). It is recommended to treat fabric with bloodstains with an enzymatic product in the pre-wash
